San Diego - Day 1

As of 11pm last night we were pretty sure we'd be on standby all day today. We were quite fortunate to ALL get seats on the first flight out.

Auggie did very well aside from the last 15 mins or so (ears?) and he took a quick nap for landing. After renting our car, we went straight to In n Out burger where Doug introduced me ton"animal style" fries.

Our bungalow is 4 blocks from the ocean and very charming. We vegged and napped and got situated. Around 4:30 we went to Little Italy, enjoyed walking around and had an amazing meal. After that we walked down to the water and met up with our friends Margie and her daughter Corie. Auggie was all hopped up on some tiramisu. He ran around and had so much fun looking at boats and playing with everyone.

Tomorrow we hope to tackle Sea World.

So extremely happy to be relaxing with my boys.
