Back home

It took some patience getting home. After two standby flights that were a no go, there was only one more direct flight out of San Diego on Saturday...plus a four hour wait to see if we would make it.

Doug was able to get us moved around and we flew to Denver then on to Chicago. Here is Auggie in the galley and then observing "aaiirpanes".








We arrived home and celebrated our anniversary dog tired and enjoying our favorite Chinese food.

Sunday I worked the nursery at church while the boys rested (sinus issues) and then took August to the Farm Frolic. A wonderful nearby farm had all sorts of demonstrations, music, food and of course animals.

It was a gorgeous day! Chilly, but beautiful.



After returning home I worked on weeding one of the flower/garden beds and Doug was busy closing up the pool.

After his nap, Auggie "helped". Just before this shot he was fully on his belly. I think he prefers sand!
