Boo!

We had a fun Halloween at our new house and neighborhood.

I got home early enough to head out for trick or treating before the real crowds! Here's Auggie and his friends at daycare.


Once trick or treating, our little monkey was hesitant at first and then really got into going to people's doors. He didn't get the knack of saying trick or treat but he was very polite and wanted to chat and said thank you and/or bye bye.









I was going to split off so I could pass out candy but Auggie wasn't having that. We all went home.



And Auggie became one if the best candy hander-outers!






The doorbell would ring and he went squealing to the door.



We had to make an extra candy run. 9 years at the old place not 2 minutes away and never a single trick or treater. Turns out they were all in our new 'hood!



We capped off the night with "the great pumpkin" and Auggie was in bed by 8:30. Worn out from all the fun!
