Back at it

I know I haven't shared daily pictures since dad passed away. I lost my mojo. I likely won't resume that effort, but don't worry, I'll keep sharing.

A few things...

1- Auggie is making each day a little easier. While he makes my heart swell, it also breaks me a little when I know mom and dad would love to see some of his escapades. We are such the typical new parents. Adoring every move he makes.

2- Doug has been busy at work which is good but it leaves me and Auggie to find new things to do on the weekends. Such as going to ride a carousel and visiting a splash park for the first time.

3- friends and family have shown so much support and it is greatly appreciated. Please know this hurt isn't going away anytime soon. Please keep the prayers and phone calls coming. We could all use it.

Fourth of July parade was brutally hot but Auggie was cool in his shades.

I am pretty proud of today. Worked all day, burgers with Doug who just got home this afternoon, 5 mile bike ride, baked strawberry lemonade bars (from pinterest) and watched some tv. Very successful.
