143-147/366

Sorry for my lack in sharing. I was having an issue with the mobile app and just haven't had a chance to sit at the computer and share.

We enjoyed a trip to Missouri over memorial day weekend to see Dad and visit with Tony, Sara & the kids. This picture is from part of our adventure while we waited for the state trooper to help us with our flat tire. I'll spare you all the other details. Needless to say, I was so grateful to meet Doug at the Saint Louis airport and finish our trip in nearly 12 hours (that should have been about 7 hours)

Bonus picture of the two youngest playing together. Auggie and Mae Mae.

Friday we visited dad at the hospital and then spent some time just relaxing at our condo at the Lake.

Bonus picture - After dinner at the condo, we went to Andy's Frozen Custard for a little treat.

Saturday we had a BBQ at Dad's house. He was able to be home and had a good size crew enjoying the grub. It was crazy hot. Hats off to my bro who slaved by the grill, Sara and Doug for all of the work on corn, guacamole, and so on. It was nice. This picture was Doug and Auggie enjoying the view before heading to Eldon.

Bonus picture - after getting back after visiting at Dad's most of the day, we took Auggie to the pool. He should be proud to be this guy's son!!

Sunday morning we all had a breakfast on the balcony. Then Doug and I loaded up to get back on the road. Dad was back in the hospital so we went to Jefferson City to visit for awhile before leaving again. We made it home in around 6 hours. A much better return trip to say the least.

Monday we were back home and I neglected to take a single picture on my phone (I did get some on my point and shoot). Doug was on call, but we were able to do some family activities. A trip to the park, etc. We also had a chance to visit with some friends and celebrate their daughter's first birthday. They had a great little bubble machine that Auggie loved.
