I took a half day and we celebrated moms birthday by doing some of her favorite things. Clam chowder at red lobster, shopping, planting flower baskets, pizza and chianti and finally enjoying a hostess cupcake.
Also bought a balloon to send off to her, but Auggie was really enjoying it and I could hear her voice in my head saying "thanks for thinking of me, but I want Auggie to keep playing with it." and so...he is still playing with it a week later.
