When arriving at work I sat and watched two geese cross the road while jibber jabbering with each other. I chuckled that I had to wait in order to proceed. They just reminded me of two friends engrossed in convo and "owning" the road.
I enjoyed having my headshot taken at work - complete with hair and makeup. I drooled over the photographers camera (and the lens especially). We all had a fun exchange and the photographer made comment on my happy personality and said to "go forth and sparkle" when leaving. I loved the statement and I believe I had a glow for the balance of my day (thanks to the makeup too).
After wrapping up early, the mad dash began at home. Ginger is with nana and Lanie is with our nanny. We are piled in the car for a nightime drive. The boy sleeps as we pass through a very foggy Indiana while listening to "the girl with the dragon tattoo" and eating white cheddar popcorn and double stuff "oreos". So happy for a few days off with my boys.
